Forest Resources - Program Details
In this program at Mt. Hood Community College you can earn your Associate of Applied Science Degree in forest resources. This program is part of our natural resources technology program, and it is accredited by The Society of American Foresters. It prepares you for an exciting career managing our forest resources in our local, state, and national parks and public lands.
Hands-on Learning
Through hands-on learning experiences, this degree teaches you what you need to know to work in forest resources management and research. You’ll learn all about reforestation, plant inventory, timber appraisal, harvesting, wildlife habitat enhancement, and more.
