Physical Education Exercise Sports Science

Build your mind and your body while taking health education and/or physical education classes at Mt. Hood Community College. This major helps you gain the skills, knowledge, and attitude to build and maintain healthy, active lives. After you complete the program, you can transfer to a four year college to pursue a bachelor's degree in the health, exercise, and sport science fields.

The Experience

Program Details

This program takes roughly 90 credits to complete, allowing you to complete your associate degree. Most students start this program with an intent to transfer to a four-year degree program after MHCC. You are encouraged to work with a university transfer advisor to ensure transferability of courses.

You can start the physical education / exercise and sports science program during any term. Students admitted to MHCC can sign up for classes in the program after reading, writing, and math placement requirements have been met.
