Pre Law
The pre-law program at Mt. Hood Community College helps prepare you to transfer to a four-year school to complete your bachelor’s degree, and ultimately for law school. In this program, you’ll learn problem-solving, critical thinking, oral communication, research, and many more important skills.
The Experience
Program Details
The pre-law program will give you the skills needed to succeed at a four-year university while also preparing you for law school after graduation.
Your future
Once you complete your associate degree at MHCC, you will most likely want to continue at another four-year university to complete your bachelor’s degree. You should work with your transfer school of choice and an MHCC advisor to make sure the courses you are taking at MHCC will transfer easily.
How To Get Started
You can start the pre-law program during any term. Students admitted to MHCC can sign up for classes in the program after reading, writing, and math placement requirements have been met.
