Undecided, Undeclared Exploratory Major
If you’re not exactly sure what you want your future career to be, that’s okay. At Mt. Hood Community College, our undecided, undeclared exploratory major allows you to explore a variety of subjects while earning credits toward a degree.
The Experience
Program Details
Many students like you aren’t sure what they want to do when they first enroll at MHCC. There are many different options for you to explore. Some end up applying for a health professions or career technical program. You may end up on an entirely different path. During your first year, you will meet with your advisor to build an education plan and then follow up each quarter to ensure you are on the right track.
Your future
MHCC is a great place to take some courses to figure out what your future career path might be, and it’s much more affordable to figure it all out with us than a four-year university.
How To Get Started
You can start the undecided, undeclared exploratory major program during any term. Students admitted to MHCC can sign up for classes in the program after reading, writing, and math placement requirements have been met.
