Veteran Services Center (VSC)

The Veteran Services Center (VSC) serves veterans, military members, and their dependents. We can help you process your educational benefits, create an academic plan, and connect you to community resources and services at MHCC.

  • Veterans lounge's computers for studying
  • Connecting to MHCC services and external resources

  • Financial aid support
  • First-term advising and educational planning
  • Getting started at MHCC
  • Student employment with VA work-study positions
  • Peer advisors for veteran education
  • VA Educational Benefit counseling
  • Military Tuition Assistance (TA) - before enrolling, students are encouraged to contact their Educational Services Officer or counselor associated with their branch of service

Peer Advisors for Veteran Education

All veterans are also eligible for our peer advisors program. Peer advisors provide ongoing support and can help you learn about college life, address challenges, and find on- and off-campus resources.
