Women's Basketball

Coach Vandenboer has led the Saints to the NWAC Basketball Championship Tournament in each of his first two seasons with the Saints and the future continues to be bright after another successful recruiting year. Coach Vandenboer will continue to instill a culture of excellence built on the core values of strong academics, outstanding citizenship, excellent basketball skills and a work ethic that is unmatched.

Men's Basketball

Nate Bowie begins his first year as the head coach of the Mt. Hood Saints. Coach Bowie was elevated from assistant coach after the retirement of John Hawley. Under Coach Bowie, the Saints will continue the strong tradition built by previous coaches and players. The building blocks consist of strong academics, solid citizenship, and excellent basketball skills.

Saints Win 2018-19 NWAC President's Cup

The NWAC Office recently announced that the Saints are the winners of the 2018-19 NWAC President's Cup for their outstanding academic performance this past year. The Saints have now won the award three times, earning the award in 2013-14 and 2015-16.

The Presidents Cups are awarded to institutions based on the academic performance of their athletic teams. Points are given for student-athletes who complete 36 credits, 72 credits, complete a certificate, and or earn an AA degree. Student-athletes' GPA determine amount of points awarded.

The NWAC will present this award on December 3rd at 3 p.m. in the Mt. Hood gymnasium.

Baseball
MHCC has a rich baseball tradition steeped in wins, successful achievements and advancement by the players.

Men's Basketball

Coach Hawley returns for his third year as the head coach and his efforts have not gone unnoticed as the Saints look to return to the NWAC Championship Tournament.

Women's Basketball

Coach Jeremy Vandenboer returns for his second year as the head coach of the Saints after taking the Saints to the NWAC Championship Tournament in his first year.

Cross Country

The red, white and black is back! The Saints of Track & Field and Cross Country are once again in stride to take a bite out of the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC).

Softball

The five-time NWAC Champions have a strong tradition of success in the classroom and on the field. Catch the Saints as they get ready to go after another NWAC crown!

Track and Field

Fernando Fantroy and Kelly Holding begin their first year as co-head coaches after serving as assistant coaches this past year. Both Fantroy and Holding have tremendous experience and success at various levels and are excited about the future of Mt. Hood Track and Field!

Volleyball

The Saints have an outstanding tradition of success on the volleyball court along with high expectations of academic success as the primary focus. Coach Crivello is committed to helping every student-athlete reach their athletic potential and fulfill their academic dreams.

Health and physical education provide students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to create and maintain a healthy lifestyle that promotes physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being.

Mt. Hood Community College is home to some of the finest facilities of any college in the NWAC and also boasts better facilities than many of the four year schools in the Northwest.

Northwest Athletic Conference

The Saints participate in the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC). The NWAC is the parent organization for thirty-six (36) community colleges located in Idaho, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. The NWAC has a variety of administrative responsibilities including conference tournament management, eligibility, publications, rule enforcement and sports information.
