Are you a people watcher? If so, maybe a career in Psychology may interest you. Psychology is the study of the human mind and its functions. This helps us to better understand ourselves, those around us, and our relationships with them.
The Experience
Program Details
The Psychology program at Mt. Hood Community College examines people, the human mind, and their actions. You will also study the diverse aspects of “being a person,” including thoughts, brain function, emotion, personality, and human development.
Your future
Once you complete your associate degree at MHCC, you will most likely want to continue at another four-year university to complete your bachelor’s degree. You should work with your transfer school of choice and an MHCC advisor to make sure the courses you are taking at MHCC will transfer easily.
How To Get Started
You can start the Psychology program during any term. Students admitted to MHCC can sign up for classes in the program after reading, writing, and math placement requirements have been met.
