Studying the Human Mind
At MHCC, you can take courses such as general psychology, the psychology of human relations, philosophy, biological anthropology, cellular biology, archeology, and more.Program Outcomes
After completing this program you'll be able to:
- Describe the field of psychology and psychological knowledge involving and including the scientific method, statistical principles, and social aspects of behavior.
- Describe the relevance of psychological knowledge regarding interpersonal relations and society.
Courses and Curriculum
While you pursue your Psychology major you can complete courses toward the Social Science and elective requirements for your associate degree. Most of the courses available can easily be transferred to a four-year institution so you can go on to earn your bachelor’s degree if you choose to do so. Work with an advisor to make sure you are taking the right classes.
