Access Student Technology Support

The student help desk is your one-stop destination for seamless technology support designed for MHCC students. Whether you have quick computer questions, need help with MyMHCC password resets, or seek guidance with your Saints email accounts, our dedicated team is here to help. Remember, NEVER email your Social Security number.


Your blackboard password, is your six-digit birthdate (MMDDYY).

Your first password should be emailed to the address you gave when you signed up. If you changed your password and cannot remember please stop by the help desk in the library and we can reset it for you. Unused Saints email accounts are deleted after 180 days.

Your first portal password is your six-digit birthdate (MMDDYY). On first login, you will be asked to create a new strong password along with recovery options. To reset a forgotten portal password open the portal homepage, enter your ID number, and then click I forgot my password. A new password will be emailed to you. If you receive an error message, please stop by the computer lab in room 1451, or the circulation desk in the library, or use this form to submit a ticket.

Wi-Fi Access

Students can connect to the "MHCC_Student" access point and open a web browser. You should be redirected to a login page. Your username will be your six-digit student ID, and your password will be set to your portal password (six-digit birthdate if you have never changed).

Faculty and staff can connect through the "MHCC-Faculty" access point. Your employee email credentials are used to authenticate.

Guests may inquire at the student help desk for Wi-Fi access.

Service Desk Locations

  • For in-person help, visit the computer lab in Room AC1451 (full service support), the student services hub in Room AC2253, go to the library front desk at the Gresham Campus, or the community skills center at the Maywood Park Campus.
  • Use the chat feature online when you sign in to MyMHCC.
